Blogging from Word 2007

This is a blog entry made in Word 2007. It allows me to directly post to my WordPress blog. I’ve made two pictures here using Word features that I saw on some demo video.

The handsome young chap was inserted as a simple image with no effects, then using Word I set the style to this angled, bordered and shaded version. This was done in one action and with a preview which was superb.

The diagram was similarly easy to produce via straightforward wizard-type system.

Oh dear – I’m praising a Microsoft product again. But hey – it works so why not use it?
